In 1997, when this native Brooklynite moved to Miami and
received his name from Mandrill’s guitarist Tommy Trujillo, the die was
cast. He realized at that point, by leaving his familiar NYC to conquer new
lands, he was stepping into his destiny.
Only six months after moving to Miami, Big Brooklyn Red became known as the
premier soul singer in South Florida. His trademark freestyles made each
performance one of a kind. Born from the difficulty of getting musicians to
rehearse, his live performances in Miami were often complete improvisations.
"That’s where the magic is for me," Brooklyn says. "To just open your mouth
and listen to what God might have me say. The better I sound, the better the
song is, the more humble it makes me." His new album, Answer The
Call will be available in stores and on-line in June 2008. Meanwhile
he continues to record and perform around the world. He may currently be
seen on MTV Italia in DJ Jad’s video for "By My Side"

There are many gospel artists that have yet to get national acclaim. Some of America’s greatest gospel artists languish in virtual anonymity. Deon Mose is that female gospel artist that can turn any church service into a revival with her singing.
A Poet is one who is especially gifted in the perception of expressing oneself both beautifully and lyrically. Deon Mose exceeds this definition. She sings with an anointing that touches all that listens to her. With her ongoing continuous to minister freedom in Christ , she has been truly blessed to reach masses of people for Christ.
"Rarely a so expressive voice mixes its deep and soft
accents with very refined programming obtaining a so beautiful result. Deon
Mose’s voice comes from her deep heart and is strongly influenced by her
blood and brain, finding the right way to put together perfectly electric
and acoustic, music and words, performing and listening."
